BROWNVILLE — One person was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital after their vehicle rolled over Thursday afternoon on Route 12E, Brownville Fire Chief Ryan McIntosh said.
McIntosh said that when crews arrived on scene they found the vehicle flipped upside down. Both occupants were out of the vehicle when the department arrived.
One person reported lower back pain and the other said they were having hip pain, the fire chief said.
McIntosh said the person with the back injury was transported to Syracuse while the other signed off.
The extent of the injuries was not disclosed.
McIntosh said that the vehicle “flipped a few times before they came to rest on top.”
The cause of the rollover was not immediately clear.
Aid was provided by Guilfoyle Ambulance, state police and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
